Blossoming Ballerinas' (Syllabus Two)

This programme sees a progression from Syllabus One in that - although having fun and developing confidence and social skills are still very much at the forefront of the Princess Ballerina mantra - the beginnings of basic ballet steps and movements are explored in greater depth than Syllabus One. Children are encouraged to take a more independent role, with parents now able to sit at the side/s of the studio, if they wish. Your little one will begin to explore the space around them, co-ordinate the simultaneous movement of two body parts, and develop a great understanding of their ever-developing social skills and classroom etiquette.

Objectives

  • To develop a basic understanding of use - and awareness - of space.
  • To develop a basic understanding of co-ordination.
  • To develop a very basic understanding of poise and posture.
  • To continue to develop confidence and have fun.
